Public Private Partnership (P3) Projects:

 

Regina Bypass Project, Regina, SK:  

Owners Engineer Team for MHI-SaskBuilds P3 project, with 32 structures and 11 interchanges. Responsibilities include QA of all aspects of the project, along with schedule monitoring, and financial tracking of progress.

Completion scheduled for October 2019.

 

Southeast Stoney Trail, Calgary, AB:    

Owners Engineer Team for the Alberta Transportation P3 project, with 27 structures and 12 interchanges. Responsibilities included QA of all structural aspects of the project. These include steel and precast girder fabrication, girder erection, pile driving, all concrete/reinforcing activities, finishing, MSE walls, waterproofing, design, records, and QA documentation review.  

 

Northeast Anthony Henday Drive, Edmonton, AB:  

Owners Engineer team for the Alberta Transportation P3 project. Responsibilities included QA of various structural aspects of the project. These included multi-plate culverts, girder erection, pile driving, concrete/reinforcing activities, and MSE walls.

 

North East Stoney Trail, Calgary, AB:    

Owner’s Engineer team, for Alberta Transportation P3 project, with 23 structures and 7 interchanges. Responsibilities included overall management of QA site staff, steel and precast NU girder fabrication and erection, all concrete reinforcing activities, finishing, MSE walls, waterproofing, design and QA documentation review.

 

Conventional and Design-Build Projects:

 

Highway 2 and 41 Avenue Interchange, Edmonton AB: 

Part of Owners Engineer team to provide inspection services on this large conventional delivery project for the City of Edmonton. The project consists of 4 structures, completed in 2015.

 

Kinder Morgan Bridge, Edmonton, AB:    

Provide in-plant precast element fabrication QA.

 

TransCanada Pipeline, Calgary, AB:    

Contracted to TCP for QA oversight services to construction works.  

 

Sanitary Sewer Upgrades, District of West Kelowna, BC:    

Part of Owners Engineer team for sanitary sewer improvement project. Responsible for on-site project management and QA/QC.

         

Dayton Street Overpass Pedestrian Bridge, City of Kelowna, BC: 

On site engineer’s representation and QC for this novel design-build project.

 

Dunvegan Suspension Bridge Upgrades, Fairview, AB:    

Inspection for the final season of work on the deck replacement and bridge upgrade project over the Peace River for Alberta Transportation.

 

 

NEXEN-Long Lake Phase #1, Fort McMurray, AB:    

QC Inspection for Upgrader commissioning and start-up.  Restoration of site grading and drainage in preparation to be hydrocarbon ready.

 

Town Centre Road, District of Lake Country, BC:    

Inspection for 700 m of new roadway in the town centre of Lake Country.  Responsible for on-site QA/QC.

 

Bridge Inspection, Ministry of Forests, Nelson, BC:    

Site inspection of forestry bridge construction in remote areas.

 

Bridge Inspection, City of Surrey, BC:    

Annual inspection of bridges for the City of Surrey via Associated Engineering (BC) Ltd.

Thirsk Lake Dam, District of Summerland, BC:    

 Inspection services for the strengthening and raising of a reinforced concrete arch dam, and spillway to expand storage at Thirsk Reservoir by 3000 ML.  Wing dams included rebuilt bentonite liners. Responsible for on-site project management and QA/QC.
